Antigua - our advices for your cruise

The island of Antigua, surrounded with coral reefs, hides exceptional sea beds, and enjoys a dry climate due to its little relief. Its cut away coast protects incomparable beaches; in whole 365 " one for every day of the year ". 
The surrounding area of the island is strewn with numerous coves and bays with magnificent coral reefs. With its lovely weather, Antigua and our rent sailboats base in English Harbour offers you immense beaches of thin sand and forests of coco-palms in the shore of crystalline water.

The used currency is dollar E.C. (Dollar East Caribbean), whose exchange rate is linked to dollar US: 1 $US = 2.65 dollars EC. 
The $US is accepted with any problems. The travellers checks in Euros are not accepted; only dollars or pounds. Most of banks open from Monday to Thursday from 9h to 15h and Friday from 9h to 16h. You will find cash dispensers which work for Visa, American express, Diners Club, MasterCard anywhere in the island but not all of them does accept all kind of cards; for more safety, we advise you to go to Saint-John's distributors.

Useful information

Visitors to Antigua and Barbuda require a valid passport, a return or onward ticket, confirmation of accommodation throughout the stay and sufficient funds for the duration of the stay. On arrival, the immigration officer must be satisfied that your reason for visiting Antigua and Barbuda is legitimate. 
U.S., Canadian, U.K. and passport holders of other European Union Country nationals require proof of citizenship - a valid passport, original or certified birth certificate. Other nationalities should contact the nearest tourist office for entry requirements.
