Most shops, restaurants, hotels, rental agencies and service stations accepts MasterCard, EuroCard and American Express. It can be more difficult to use Visa or Diner Club, but it's increasing.

Prices are increasing regularly since 1990, but Slovenia is much cheaper than its neighbours, Italy or Austria (but more expensive than Hungary)
Prices of imported products or small production are as expensive as in France.
Pubs, restaurants, cigarettes, fuel, cinema... are cheaper
