Health
There’s not malaria, yellow fever, or other tropical disease in Mauritius. But it is better to stay up to date with your vaccinations. Particularly of hepatitis B, for which there’s a vaccine but not an effective treatment. The disease, highly contagious and widespread in Mauritius, can be fatal.
There’s also a vaccine for hepatitis A, prevention is better than cure!
About HIV / AIDS, the same precautions than anywhere else.
