ATTENTION, CHECKS OUT OF PLACE (ISSUED BY BANK OF THE METROPOLIS) are REJECTED, PREFERABLE TO HAVE CASH.

Some establishments (especially high-end) accept holiday’s checks and restaurant tickets.

Banks

Banks opens from 7.30h (or 8 h) to 12h and 14h to 16h, except Saturdays and Sundays.
There are many banks in Fort-de-France, and in some villages.
Certain agencies Agricultural Credit bank open on Saturday from 8h to noon.
