Money
The currency is the Croatian kuna (HRK) which means marten. The Croatian currency is stable. It is declined in parts of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 lipas and 1, 2 and 5 kunas. There are bills of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1 000 kunas. The euros are easily exchangeable, not the pounds. Many establishments adopt double posting: in euros and kunas to facilitate the appreciation of the prices.

Most of the time the payment is made in kunas, but it is possible that euros are also accepted. A good means if you travel with other people and prefer to avoid moving you with too important sums, is to withdraw a large sum each one once and to divide it.
