Santa Lucia is one of most precious pearls of the "islands in the wind". The island has the wind in it sails.
Famous for its soca and its Friday "street parties", tiny and mountainous with wild vegetation, Santa Lucia offer the dreamed place for your holidays.
Its charm is in its spectacular mountains, its magnificent beaches and its small and authentic villages. Most known geological phenomenon, Pitons Mountains, truly volcanic sugar loaf, have became national symbol.
We propose you catamarans and mono-hulls in our base in Santa Lucia, a really good way to depart from one of magnificent ports in west coast (Marigot Bay and Pitons) and go to Martinique or the Grenadines.
Currency is Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$)
US dollar and international credit cards are accepted everywhere.
Banks open from 8h to 15h from Monday to Friday, and from 8h to 12h - 15h to 17h on Friday.
Attention: weekends and holidays are closed, except Roadney Bay: National Commercial Bank, Barclay Bank and royal Bank of Canada are open from 8h to 12h on Saturday morning.
Change at banks (0,41 Euros per 1EC$) is more advantageous than hotels, restaurants and shops (0,40 Euros per 1E$).
Be careful in hotels and restaurants, most prices are augmented a 15% (taxes and service). Make clarify this before booking.
To stay a month, only passport and return ticket is necessary.
You need to have a local license valid for three months (you must pay around 54EC$, i.e. 22 Euros) that you'll take at immigration office of Hewanorra and Vigia airports, at police department or in car rental agencies. You must be older than 25 and to have 2 years old license.
To leave Santa Lucia you have to pay 53EC$ (22 Euros)
